Happy Easter

He is Risen!!! I hope that you all had a blessed day! Beckett was so much fun this year. He wasn't quite sure what to do with his eggs when he found them. He would get so upset if you tried to get him to put them in his basket so he could go get more. He was quite content with only finding two---one for each hand! After church we went to the Officers Club for brunch and was visted by the Easter Bunny. This was a very traumatic experience for Beckett. Apparently he's not fond of oversized Bunnies and let the whole place know it. The boy has some serious lungs! He was so frightned that he placed Trace's hand over his eyes and held them there with a death grip! Poor baby! I hope he doesn't have nightmares tonight!

Case of the Missing Tooth

Alden lost a tooth at her Piano lesson. Unbeknownst to me she had wrapped the tooth in a bloody paper towel and asked her sister to hold it for her as she gathered her belongings so that we could leave. I grabbed the towel out of Mariah's hand to throw it away and the tooth went flying into the crevice of the sofa in the waiting room. We tried, and tried to recover it but to no avail it was GONE into the abyss of the sofa. Alden was crushed and cried all the way home! Later that night she came to me and asked me to write the words LOST, TOOTH, COUCH, PIANO, and PUT HERE with an attached envelope! She had wanted the Tooth Fairy to go find her tooth and left her a note! The Tooth fairy obliged and found her tooth. Not the one she had lost, of course but she'll never know!!! I wish I would've taken the picture before I had written over it... but I love her note very direct and to the point! That's my Alden! FYI... that box in the picture is a picture of her tooth, the one with the X --I guess she had messed up originally.

Cat Girl

Mariah had a Choir perfomance yesterday and had created this mask as a prop for when they were singing " I Just Can't wait to be King" from the Lion King. On the way out Alden took it and ran ahead and hid in between some tree's and as we walked by she tried to scare us. Of course, I had to take a picture and I am glad I did. I LOVE the way it turned out! So cute!

Spring {Tease}

Yes,tease..! The weather here in South Dakota is so unpredictable! Yesterday it was a balmy 70 degrees! We were so excited we pulled out our spring/summer clothes and wore them! Today...it's blustery cold with a chance of snow! UGH! Will Spring ever get here?!?!?!? Not fast enough, in my opinion!

My friend Cindy borrowed the girls for an afternoon photo shoot, she wanted to try out a new lens. We took them downtown Rapid City where there are some really old buildings with some photo perfect ally-ways! All the kids were good sports! It was alot of fun.. We got some idea's for some other great pictures for another day!
