It's hard to believe that my second born is now 7 years old!! Where did the time go? It seems that in her short life that her daddy has missed most of her birthday's either from deployments or PCSing. This year when asked what she wanted for her birthday she said all she wanted was a birthday party where her daddy could come. So, even though it wasn't the most convenient time to throw a birthday party and I wouldn't recommend throwing a birthday party in the middle of a move, but we did it! (the sacrifices we make for our children!) We celebrated a couple of weeks early than her May 9Th birthday so that Trace could attend. He left the very next day for Ohio! She wanted an "Under the Sea" theme. My friend, Cindy created the cutest of cute invitations for her swim party that was held in our base indoor pool. A good time was had by all! Alden also happened to be visiting her grandparents on her "real" birthday that she got to celebrate twice with her family! Lucky girl!
